As we expand our network, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to build and maintain relationships with long-term care operators, community administrators, and healthcare partners.
Position Overview
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for promoting our medical services, identifying new business opportunities, and securing relationships with long-term care communities. The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-driven professional with experience in healthcare preferably in long term care, or with a geriatric population.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to introduce primary care and specialty medical services to long-term care and assisted living facilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with administrators, directors of nursing, and community leadership teams.
- Present service offerings, coordinate meetings, and facilitate the onboarding of new partner communities.
- Collaborate with internal clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth implementation of services.
- Track outreach activities, manage leads, and report progress to leadership.
- Represent the organization professionally at community events, industry meetings, and conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Business development, sales, or marketing experience in healthcare, senior living, or medical services strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of long-term care, assisted living, and/or post-acute healthcare environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to partner sites.
